There are people out there that will listen to everything you say, and there are people out there that will listen to nothing you say.  My job as a trainer and coach is to help you be the best athlete you can be.  One difference in Crossfit and other gyms (among many other differences) is the coaching everytime you come in.  You are never left to figure it out on your own.  We are here to teach, to guide, to push, to cheer.  Encourage you to want to be better than you already are.  If you choose to not listen to instruction you may not get everything out of the Crossfit expirience as you can.  You may end up with  more than a hurt ego.  Full range of motion is not only about functionality, it’s about flexibility, about form.  You want to teach your muscles to perform in a proper manner so as you add load you are structurally sound in those motions.  So, I ask, when you come through the door, leave your preconcieved notions of fitness and ego at the door.  We are here to make you better, fitter, and stronger.  I only want to see you soar!

A tough lesson to learn, but you’re better off when you do.
